Materials Need:

• Pencil/Pencil Lead
• Speaker Wire/Jump Cable

Procedure:

1. Grab any pencil, then split it open and extract the pencil lead.
2. Break each pencil lead into 1 inch sections, 1 section will last about 3-4 minutes.
3. Get some speaker wire or jump cable, then split and attach it to the lead, and attach the other end to your car battery.
4. Your lead will suddenly glow brightly! One pencil can provide up to 20 minutes of light!

• In this cool experiment please don't use this method when you're filling up gas!
